Our Yummy Walks Food Tours in Boston takes you to the Fort Point Channel/Seaport District where you will enjoy dramatic views of Boston's downtown skyline as we stroll along the HarborWalk. The HarborWalk is designed to connect the water's edge and city's open space system in a working industrial port. The seafood is local and fresh.

In the Fort Point Channel, history is more than an idea or a concept, it is real. It is in the bricks of the buildings, the stone of the seawall and in the iron of the bridges. It is history that you can walk through or over.

From the 1880s to the 1930s, ships carrying everything from wool and molasses to safety razors passed through the Channel. In the early years its wharves were used mainly for the storage of molasses and wool, but as Boston grew in prominence as a center for industry, brick and granite factories were built. Today it is a vibrant arts community . Fort Point is home to over 300 artists who produce work in a wide array of media. It is recognized as one of New England's largest artists' communities. The historic warehouse buildings house painters, photographers, sculptors, designers, ceramicists, jewelers, and more.
